Patricia Power is one of Ireland’s most renowned Quantity Surveyors. She has been a major feature on the much loved TV Show RTE’s Room to Improve. Patricia is best known for her straight talking no nonsense approach, continually delivering projects on budget, whilst always considering and preserving the design aspirations by Dermot and the clients.
Patricia stepped out of the show to concentrate on her own busy practice and to focus on other projects. Her professional quantity surveying practice was set up in 2011 and deals primarily in new one off houses, extensions, renovations and general home improvements. She is your one stop shop for all cost and construction advice on your home.
She is very well known in the media circuit and has done several newspaper, magazine, television and radio interviews over the years. Some for the show promotion and other general construction advice, tips and information on grants and schemes available.
Prior to all of this she was a partner in one of the largest professional quantity surveying and project management practices, and gained a wealth of construction experience across the commercial, retail, and industrial sectors on small to large scale works.
Patricia is highly qualified with an honours degrees in Construction Economics from Trinity College Dublin, Honours Diploma in Construction Economics from the Dublin Institute of Technology, and a Geo-Surveying Certificate from the Dublin Institute of Technology.
She is a Registered Quantity Surveyor and a Member of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland, the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors.
